Greek and Roman influence on the Italian Renaissance architecture
The Renaissance was the time where there were many political, economic,social,and cultural changes. The Renaissance was also the time where some of the best architectures were built. The Renaissance architecture had been deeply influence from the classical styles of the Roman and Greek architecture.
Greek architecture was based on precision, accuracy, and eminence of workmanship. The Greeks developed and followed two principal orders: the Doric order and the Ionic order.

Perspective is the method of making 3 dimensional objects. Brunellesci is generally regarded as the inventor of Perspective. For example, he worked out the principle of the vanishing point, which was known to the Greeks and Romans but, like other knowledge, it had been lost. The architecture Brunelleschi and Alberti were among the first to visit Rome in order to study the ruins of antiquity and to incorporate many of the ancient principles into their work and to understand balance and harmony. The next architect is Leon Battista Alberti. He shared Brunelleschi's reverence for Roman architecture. In his works he was strongly influenced by the writings of the ancient Roman architect Vitruvius He use the Roman temple front to use as inspiration to build the Tempio Malatestiano and the Church of Santa Maria Novella.
