How The Second Industrial Revolution Changed America

After the “Civil War and Reconstruction” had ended America had what was known as the “Second Industrial Revolution” which occurred around 1870 and 1914. The U.S, ended up with a large amount of natural resources because of it new territories. The North and the West had expanded their “market for manufactured good and the availability of capital for investment”. While during the Second Industrial Revolution there was a large amount of inventions for transportation such as roads, steam boats and most importantly railroads that were connected to others that were previously unavailable to some.
