Infants are rapidly growing, discovering and learning new things. They observe their surroundings and grasp objects trying to understand them. Their movements are kind of limited, but that does not stop them from exploring the different objects that they can reach. There are activities that they can do to help their, physical abilities, their cognitive thinking, their social skills, and their communication skills. Infants and children learn easier by doing and not just listening.

Some of the milestones that Infants go through are being able to hold their head up, rolling over, and grasping objects. Some more examples are their recognition memory improving, being able to form categories based on object's physical appearance, and making cooing sounds by the end of the period. These are only a few of the many more milestones.

Items with many different textures and sizes are put into the basket. The infant or infants can reach into the basket and feel the different textures. They are able to explore and discover the shapes, sizes, colors, and textures of the objects.

Another activity that I included was Follow the leader. The teacher or guardian would do small movements like opening and close their hands, clap the two hands together, and wave their hands towards the infant. Hopefully, the Infant will follow along as the teacher or guardian performs the action. This activity partially builds a relationship with the adult and enforces the concept of self-awareness.

Having hands on activities encourages the infants to learn and explore about the world around them which is very important. They learn from interacting with the object's if you were to tell them how to do something they would still what to do it for themselves. Parent involvement is also a very important aspect in childhood development, it builds bonds and makes them feel safe and
