Explain in detail the relationship between the kidneys and the heart – include any anatomical features and/or chemicals that are involved.

The kidneys and heart work in tandem with one another because; the heart bumps blood and a certain pressure or speed and the glomerulus in the kidney has to diffuse the urine out of the blood. The juxtaglomerular apparatus acts as a regulator for the functions of each nephron. It also works as a regulator for blood flow and the glomerulus filtration rate.
