The United States has a lot of people with diversity, for example religion, gender, nationality, and socioeconomic . In schools there are also lots of diversity and schools are where a lot of children get to experience diversity, by having classmates with different nationalities, religions and gender. However, children at least young children may not know what religion and what nationality is. I've noticed in the kindergarten classroom I help out with all the children get along and there is no child being excluded because they may be a different race. Makes we wonder why some may change when they get older. I've noticed that the teacher of the kindergarten class is for the most part equal with all the children. Meaning that she is equal with gender, socioeconomic, and ethnicity. She treats each each and every child with with respect. However, I've noticed that she has treated some children differently, she may not mean to because she is basically forced because of the child's behavior. I've noticed that the teacher has basically given up with the children she has the hardest time controlling, and a lot of the times she just doesn't care what the child does. For example those children with hard behavior will get up during reading time and do what ever they want and the teacher does not care. However, if a student that …show more content…
She treats each gender the same with no discrimination because of their sex. I have seen once seen the children being a little sexes. While sitting on the carpet the children and the teacher were talking about rhyming words. And picture of a car with a dent was shown and a lot of the children yelled "she is a bad driver." Kind of weird how they said she instead of they or he is a bad driver. They just assumed that all girls are bad drivers. Makes me wonder where did they get the idea of girls being bad
