Would you ever consider using a robot to do you surgery?That is a question that has two answers but behind those answers are hundreds of reasons. Technology is all around us and most of the time even in our back pockets but one day they might even be inside of us. In the future my goal is to become a cardiovascular surgeon. A cardiovascular surgeons work with organs in the area of the chest such as lungs and heart. Technology has always been a great help to the medical field as it always will, and has helped save many lives but furthermore in the future there is a very high risk chance of technology replacing actual surgeons.

New technology is being created everyday to help save lives and without them surgeons would be very distressed. Laparoscopic surgery is a perfect example for how new technology helps in a dramatic way. A laparoscopic surgery does the performance of surgical procedures with the assistance of a video camera and several thin instruments. In the future when even more technology come out it will be a great help, even today some surgeries that can be used to save a life can not be done due to risky complications and high risks of failure on the operation table. Technology can help us prevent that, maybe in the next few years a robot will be inside of you doing your surgery while the surgeon is directing and actions and monitoring.
