The coverage will affect lots of citizen. However, some of Australian media tell biased news. David, Christian, Kathryn, and Kerrie (2015) believe that the statement 44 reported that current media is not enough to explain the coverage to the public. Sometimes, media coverage is biased such as a stereotype or less information. Folker (2013) states Australian journalists are still not suit for world views and cultural backgrounds of the general population. Although the media in Australia plays an important role, the number of people don't check media which mean they don't believe Australian media, because of the bias coverage. Some newspapers are biased because of it. Ownership will effect bad influence to the coverage. Those coverage is written by Murdoch who has a media company which called News corp. Myung-Jin, James (n.d.) state that Rupert Murdoch’s New Corporation controls over 70 percent of the daily newspaper market. It shows that how Murdoch has a power in the industry. The media’s role is reporting the coverage fairly and accurately. Although, Murdoch use his power to tell news his own opinion and sway the readers and that might harm someone. For instance, Murdoch wrote his opinion on the newspaper. The AIM Network (2014) illustrate that the CEO of News Corps whose name is Rupert Murdoch, he use the title of ‘Australia needs Tony’ and Kick this Mob [Labor] Out’. Because of the company want to get profit, however these news are individual opinion and it is not precise information. Thus, ownership will effect bad influence. Flew (2009) thinks that concentrate on ownership will give negative influence to diversity idea and opinions. It is against the principle of media and show ownership’s opinion which are not coverage and accurate. Citizen watch ABC news and the number of watcher has increased even less people interested in political news. It can understand people believe ABC news provide valuable information which mean ABC news report accurate and it is less biased. However, ownership don't report accurate coverage. Newspaper which is published by ownership provide biased. It is written by owner not expert journalist. Owner use his power and write his opinion on the newspaper. The radio in Australia as ABC news do precision analysis and have a responsibility to inform accurate news. Although many people leave to watch news, the number of people who watch ABC news has increase which mean people think ABC news provides valuable information. secondly, the government allow ownership newspaper which is by Murdoch and they report his own opinion by using his power. Finally, journalist make Muslim to bad influence. They focus on religion not people if some news is happened by Muslim. It is discrimination and it make stereotype to citizen. The media in Australia has some stereotype. however, the radio such as ABC news has good coverage compare with other country. It is suggest that the government should do control ownership and organization of media for not harm people and for democracy. In addition, government should regulate the media.
