Throughout my time at placement, I was able to form very positive professional relationships with my mentor and team. I felt confident to share my ideas, thoughts and ask for feedback. During full control, I was lucky enough to be given the complete freedom to plan my own content, activities and resources for the class. Throughout my planning, I would often ask my mentor teacher to review, give direction and guidance on my lesson plans to ensure I am implementing a valuable and engaging lesson. I would also form discussions with my mentor teacher after a lesson had finished to reflect on what I thought went well, not so well and what could be improved in future lessons.
