Is the search for Al-Qaeda or other terrorist groups a modern witch hunt. I think that the war on terror is a modern witch hunt. In my essay am going to be talking about 3 main points. Did the U.S resolve to violence to quickly, are we taking the right steps to end the war on terror, And is it possible for the war on terrorism to end. Am going to be using quotes from the crucible to help me.

Did the U.S resolve to violence to quickly. ‘’Throughout its long history, terrorism often has been addressed though swift violence in return, rather than through prolonged legal proceeding’’(Azzata, Gerry 262-273).The connection i can make to the Crucible is that the people that got convected didn’t have a fair trial.And if we don’t give the terrorist a fair trial then we are just like the terrorist killing because we think we are in the right. The connection i can make to the Crucible is when the judges try to make John procter sign his name to say that he is a witch.But John procter in the end tears the paper and crumples it. I think that the only way to end the war on terror is to put are pride a side and my some risky decisions.
