In the Cleveland Cavaliers' first game after trading away Isaiah Thomas, Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade, and Jae Crowder, they beat the Boston Celtics, an eastern conference powerhouse this season, 121-99. Throughout the game, the team was playing together and their chemistry was fantastic. Cedi Osman, a young forward, missed a fast break dunk, and his Cavs teammates uplifted and encouraged him. A few weeks ago, a missed dunk would have resulted in a another fight between players, but the team seems generally content and invigorating of one another.

I was correct in the moving of the ball-dominant Dwyane Wade, Isaiah Thomas, and Derrick Rose, but I said they should keep Jae Crowder and acquire more players like him. I was incorrect, as the Cavs traded Jae Crowder as a part of a 3-team deal for George Hill and Rodney Hood. Another question many are asking is "Will the new-look Cavs fit in together?" This can be answered by basic basketball analysis, and the Cavs were struggling because everyone in their starting lineup needed a high amount of shots. Now that Isaiah Thomas, who was used to orchestrating the entire Boston Celtics this year, is gone, and Dwyane Wade, who had been challenged with carrying the Heat and Bulls in recent years, was traded back to the Miami Heat for just a second round pick. This is important because it emphasizes that the Cavs traded Wade to get rid of him, not because they
