Career development and training courses will be highly recommended so that this TM’s confidence and/or self-esteem can increase. Although TM does quite well and delivers on daily expectations. When tasks are sensitive in nature Tm’s confidence becomes weakened. Increase recognition of job well done, and affirmation reminders will encourage this TM to want to develop more even if she remains in her current position. If the opportunity for growth arises this TM’s happiness will be the determining factor if she considers applying. It is imperative that her confidence and belief influence her motivation and this will also continue to feed her need for security and safety. McClelland’s Theory outlines that this Tm is doing exactly what she wants to do, and very happy doing it. Pay is not an is not an issue, promotion is not required.

This TM has such a high need to achieve, almost to the point of being an over achiever. On a constant daily basis the TM will evaluate her productivity to ensure it exceeds yesterday’s expectations. TM will not engage due to the high and low risk however, I will persuade her to step outside of the box and that it is okay to break something but take the risk. This will encourage her
