1- Title of the Artifact - Melting Ice Activity

2- Description of Artifact: What is it? For what class was it developed? What was the purpose of the assignment?
This artifact has been developed in ECED 304-Integrating Learning Standards in Early Childhood Settings. The ages of the children were from two –three years old. The description of this assignment to observe children and describe what they will do and how they will react when they feel the ice. There were two bowls of ice on the table, children were able to touch and feel, and taste the ice. They were able to observe the ice and to watch how it is melting. For three years old, the description of this artifact starting reading a story about “Rocks in his head” I had developed the story by asking questions about the story. Then, I took the children outside and asked them to collect rocks. Children were being able to collect different kinds of rocks.
