6. All equipment connecting to the PC should be put on an elevated position.
7. The main power supply should remain switched off.

For fires that can be managed, policies should also include such procedures which would be instrumental in averting dangers of inferno.
3. The best UPS systems should be connected to handle safe shutting down of the system. When power goes off immediately, risks are that the hard disk of the computer would crush. This definitely poses the risk of losing vital documents and other files such as music. Therefore, it would be very important to have a UPS that would have a power storage tank which would (in turn) support the PC in shutting down safely.
