Verizon seems to have stability and are very effective with any initiatives they implement. In my opinion, out of the four Organizational Cultures, VZW utilizes the Hierarchy Culture. Dan Mead, CEO, and Verizon Wireless: “Culture is the very core of what we do. It starts with integrity, earning the trust of customers and following through” (Reiss, 2012). Verizon created “a leadership culture that leads shareholder value” ( this was their goal in 2011. This was key to be successful in cultural change.
