Pathos In Mark Antony's Speech

First of all, Antony builds trust with his audience by beginning with simple emotional heaps of pathos. Then we see Antony use more pathos when talking about Caesar. Antony states “He was my friend, faithful and just to me.” Antony loved Caesar, and he was a good friend to him. Antony explains that Caesar felt the pain of the Romans when he said, “ When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept.” The point is expressed that the Romans have all loved Caesar, and should mourn the loss of their leader.
