I believe that being a Peer Leader is more than someone that just wants 2.5 more credits at the end of the year, in exchange for 2 halves of their lunch each week. A peer leader is someone that wants to represent the student body to incoming freshmen by helping them find their way through the high school. I want to apply to be a Peer Leader because I’d like to help represent the student body in a positive light in order to create a positive introduction experience into Mahwah High School for the incoming freshmen.
