Perseverance: Overcoming Obstacles

Our ray of hope, Perseverance Life is a game. A player is given a level everyday that is to be passed and progressively gets harder as the levels are passed. The reason for the increase of difficulty is obstacles that are added to the levels. As the levels go on, the player is met with harder obstacles that must be beat in order to pass the level. These obstacles can vary from a family situation to a hard final. The obstacles can fill the player with “I can’t” or “it’s too hard” making the player give up on that level of life. However, as hard as the obstacles may be, they are made to build character and knowledge of the player. Additionally, those obstacles and levels can be passed by a key aspect of life called perseverance. It can vary from your teacher getting through the day to the bus driver dealing with the kindergartner’s in the morning. Unfortunately, there is always problems that arise and “there'll always be something new / To keep the tables turning,” (The Whispers). Those problems are the reason for perseverance, it is to be able to pass obstacles that are seen as difficult. Fortunately, with perseverance the person can stay strong as “the beat goes on// Still moving strong on and on,” (The Whispers). With the knowledge of life going on the individual musters the perseverance and strength needed to face the obstacle. This encourages the person to stay strong and “this time I'll keep my feet on solid ground,” (The Whispers). When there is assistance from perseverance the ability to get through problems is heightened and
