“My Personal Statement”
I was born and raised in a small 82sq mile island. Approximately 1000 miles southeast off the cost Florida. For the first 7 years of my life my first language was Spanish, I therefore spent my years in school working twice as hard to keep up due to lack of ESL teachers in the education system. I later enrolled in honor classes and graduated with honors and top of my class all through junior high. I then became the first in my family to graduate from high school. I am now a first generation college student because I knew that there are no limits on my education. I am determine to thrive and achieve all of my goals.
It has been my dream to someday pursue a career as a Doctor (Radiologist, General Practitioner, etc.) I
