Oh wait! There are alternatives!. But I bet you didn't know about that either. Another thing that isn’t broadcasted or well known. Why? Because no one cares. The media as well as well as society does not show that there are other options to animal testing, they don't show that animals lives do not need to be in danger anymore. Could this be because they’ve already mastered testing products on animals that they don’t want to start on something new that would take years to perfect? Could it be more expensive than breeding animals just to test on? What are the other options anyway. Did you think you were remaining healthy through all of this? Not at all! Since we don’t hear about animal testing as much in the media , we also don’t get to hear about the main effects and damages its causing towards us. According to the Neav website “Millions of animal bodies, many of which are contaminated with toxic or hazardous chemicals, viruses, infectious diseases, etc., are discarded after use in research and testing every year. These carcasses as well as other laboratory waste such as animal excrement, bedding, and excess feed, which may be hazardous or infectious due to exposure of the animals to diseases and chemicals, may not just be toxic or infectious, but may be multi-hazardous and contain a combination of chemical, radioactive, and/or biological hazards.” (“Campaigns.” Animal Research Is Hazardous Waste, Neavs, 2018, ) The animals being killed are causing the very thing they are being tested for to prevent. Ironic isn’t it. Harm to you health seems like a way bigger deal than making sure the foundation you’re only gonna wear twice isn’t radioactive.
