Police officers are trying to save the innocent as fast and efficient as possible. People who claim brutality also call the police to help in an emergency. People who have had to deal with police are those who have called on the police for assistance(Kerwick ). They cops get blamed for being to brutal, but the people that are blaming them still call the when the need help. If a robbery happens then the police show up to take care of it . During a robbery they go and wait outside and negotiate. If a bank robbery happens the there will be hostages. And the cops will come in and save them. The cops try and negotiate with the robbers to try and get all the hostages out safely. If that does not work the they will breach the bank and take down the
