I do not think I executed project one well. Unfortunately, I got a late start on my project one assignments because I didn’t quite comprehend what was the expectation as it related to the group assignment. Furthermore, my current grade is evidence to me that I did not executed project one at the best of my ability, hence the need to approach project two differently.
The IWAs and reading journals except the annotated bibliography portion were beneficial to me in my project 1 assignments. The IWAs was helpful because it prepared me for the project one’s rhetorical analysis writing and the peer review assignment. What is the goal of my writing? In project two, my goal is the develop an argument with a primary claim, at least four sub-claims and at least two counter claims. I intend on accomplishing this by carefully selecting my evidence, language, organizational, rhetorical, and persuasive strategies to plead your case to my audience.
How will I connect research into my writing? In project two, I am required to integrate five credible sources into my writing, these sources should be used merely to support my claim. Therefore, it important that I identify the merit and reliability of the sources and employ the mechanics of introducing, integrating, and documenting source materials.
What are some strategies that can be utilized in reading assignments? Some strategies that can be employed are making note of important and useful points and inconsistencies in the reading. Furthermore, it’s important to mark were in the reading these points are to reexamine them.
