First Assignment Analysis
I did not include a page number (Chang 1) on the top right of the journals nor the cornell notes
I typed the course code incorrectly, it should be ENG 1D1Ya; I did not include the lowercase a.
I did not click enter in the header of the assignments for the information on the top left hand corner of the first page
I bolded and underlined the title of the journal, in MLA there is no bolding and underlining
In the cornell notes I wrote the chapter number (chapter 2) for all seventeen chapters of instead of writing out the number (chapter two)
For the cornell notes, I did not edit out the unused spaces in the tables for some of the chapters
I did not use capital letters correctly for the names of each chapter
Some of the questions in the cornell notes were handwritten into the column and not edited before printing …show more content…
The characters were not fully completed, I thought only newly introduced characters were to be listed and described; therefore, only newly introduced characters were described in each chapter analysis
In several occasions I used contractions which are not supposed to be used in these assignments
For some important quotations for the chapters analyzed, I did not use quotations correctly or forgot to use them entirely
Some of the page numbers for the important quotations were not listed
The settings and themes were not specific or discussed in enough detail
I used past tense in most of the cornell notes instead of present tense
Some of the questions asked in the cornell notes were not listed in alphabetical order
There were also some details left out regarding the analysis of the chapters
In the paragraph responses, some of my writing was not formal enough
There were also a few grammatical errors such as misplaced commas and periods
I needed to include more examples to support my statements
I did not have to include “in conclusion” in my second journal
