I think that a college degree is a must in our current working society. Today, a college degree is the main stream for most career jobs, you are likely to earn more and have more benefits than a highschool graduate, and it develops a work ethic that will be helpful for your entire life. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2010, the median yearly earning for a college graduate is $17,000 more than a worker without a college degree. In the same year the unemployment rate was 10% for not college graduates. Workers with college graduates’ unemployment rates were half of that of non-college graduates.
