Todays society stresses on the level of education one has. Statistics state that the more schooling you have the more money you should make! To earn your Bachelorettes Degree can take years to achieve and cost thousands of dollars in the process. Would dedicating four or more years and spending tens of thousands of dollars pay off in the long run?
High School Graduates can make on average around $36,424 per year or $1,092,720 over the course of thirty years according to www.pbs.org. On average a College Graduate with a Bachelorettes Degree can start at up to $45,478 a year. Over the course of 26 years (minus four years to earn your degree) you can earn on average of around $2,270,000 or around $87,000 per year. That’s more than double what an average high school graduate makes in their lifetime.
College can be very costly to attend. There are so many expenses you don’t think about while attending college. Some items include tuition, books, room and board, and of course money for groceries and all the other things that come up unexpectedly. College in general has good points and bad points as explained. Once you have graduated college and have that degree in hand no one can take that away from you. That degree is yours for life. You may have a slow start on your career or get hired on that job you wanted all along. Either way a college degree is way more valuable than a High School Diploma.
