The Fuel Of America The racing industry is huge in America, bigger than a lot of people know. The Environmental Protection agency does not like the racing industry in anyway. They hate homemade race cars and want to totally get rid of the fuel that these cars burn. The Environmental Protection Agency claims that race fuel is bad for the environment and they seek to prohibit the conversion of vehicles into race cars. The first automobile racing event was hosted in eighteen ninety five, The Environmental Protection Agency wasn't founded until nineteen seventy. Why does this Agency think they have the right to say what the racing industry can and cannot do when the racing industry has been around way longer than they've existed. Nascar was even founded before the Environmental Protection Agency, Nascar was founded in nineteen forty eight, Twenty two years before the EPA. …show more content…
Now think about all the tax money the government gets from these different racing networks. Those billion dollar industries aren't including the fuel companies and parts businesses either. The parts it takes to convert a car for race fuel and the fuel the racers buy is definitely a multi million dollar industry, maybe even more. If the Environmental Protection Agency was to ban race fuel or racing events, the economy would take a big hit. So many people would jobs and businesses would be shut down. Every weekend there's a race track open somewhere hosting a major event bringing in boat loads of cash and keeping kids and some adults out of trouble. If racing was banned the crime rate would rise rapidly. The track racers would become street racers which will either get them killed or arrested. If the fuel gets banned someone will know how to make it, and sell it leading them to jail
