In the book Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick, the author includes many pieces of advice, or words of the wiser, in his story. Most of these pieces help build up the theme of the story. Many pieces of advice are given to Max, the narrator of the story by different people, but some people more than others..
Many pieces of advice are given to Max by his father, Kenny Kane or, as many people know him, Killer Kane. Max’s father has been planning his escape from prison, and when he finally gets out, he tries to teach Max to become like him.
