From a World War II propaganda campaign ad to a widely used feminine icon in America today, it is no doubt that Rosie the Riveter has had a progressive impact on our nation overtime. Rosie the Riveter is not one woman, but instead she is meant to represent millions of women. The American government and industrial workforce used Rosie in order to encourage woman to join the workforce and replace man power lost when men registered or were drafted to become soldiers during World War II.
