I am a freshman student here at Stockdale. I am writing to you because I want to know why we can’t leave school for lunch. I do not like school food and I am pretty sure that everyone else has the same opinion about school food as I do.

Not only do I dislike school lunches, but it would be great if you could let us leave school to eat. It could be risky, for there has been accidents in the past that resulted from leaving school for lunch, but maybe you can hire a cross guard. I get that we are all teens, but some people do not look both ways before crossing the street because they are distracted by their mobile device or they just don’t want to.
