“Victor , can you assist me in French? After all, I do need the help,” said Teresa.

“Oh ya, we could meet up Friday, at my house?” stumbled Victor.

“Yes, that will be fine, see you soon.”

Victor couldn’t believe that the magnificent Teresa asked him to help her in French. What would he do? He knew if he came clean with her, she might be furious or flattered, but he couldn’t take the risk. The girl of his life was waiting for him.

Victor rushed out of the library. Victor knew that he lied to his best friend Michael, but he didn’t know what to say. He felt guilty, but he didn’t have time to feel terrible about lying to his one and only friend. He had to study French. He had three days to pack all of the textbook’s information into his brain. Victor started to read through the pages. He was determined to finish the three French textbooks. I can’t believe I have to learn all of this. I never thought French would be so interesting. Victor studied for days, but he still didn’t know anything about French. He felt his heart pop out. Victor felt guilty that he left Teresa, waiting to talk to Victor but he just couldn’t handle the embarrassment. He ran out of the library as quickly as he can. He recalled Teresa having a confused look on her face.Wait does Teresa like me if she didn’t then she would have never invited me to her house. If she liked me it's would be the greatest thing that ever happened to me. He was starting to regret this whole thing. He just wanted Teresa to like him. She was one of the prettiest girls with a great attitude. I wish that I didn’t lie to Teresa and I wish that I could just tell her that I lied because I really like her and I wanted to impress
