Gender is a socially constructed definition of women and men. As a gender, race is different than gender. Race is a different group of people bound together by historically unexpected, socially significant elements of their ancestry. In the common gender and race are the just a social construction group. Social construction influences everybody's life and assumes a critical part in stereotyping in gender or race as opposites. Different gender and race groups are unequal in power, resources, status, and assumed value. The basic reason is power. The power obtains from superior numbers, education, weapons, property, or economic resources. As we all read that socially constructed by gender play vital role in society. This not true in different groups of society, it is simply a part of stereotypes that is misused. The socially constructed of gender get more opportunity in the developed countries. As an example: USA has benefited from socially constructed by men and women. It depends on the society to construct how to divide work among men and women. In a developed country like USA give opportunity to women in different field. Whereas, in underdevelopment countries socially constructed category of gender harmed. For example: Nepal is the underdevelopment country where men get more job opportunity than women. In some part of Nepal, women aren’t allowed to be educated due to family problems. There are educated girls that aren’t getting education due to the facts of western girls' behaviors. As a poor country Nepal always looks other developed countries give education to girls. When Nepalese sees that western girls in short dress, they have stereotypes that they think Nepalese girls might be same as …show more content…
Gender stereotypes play vital role in the different race. As an example: Gender stereotypes does not play out well at workplace. As we always think men are stronger than women that does not make true sense. I work at the farm, where women are better, stronger and hard worker, but the society views impacts them. They see themselves as weak because of the society, creating gender stereotypes among them that men are better. When men and women are captivated, they are then ranked. Gender ranked refer to the ranking of the genders in such a way that women are unequal in power, resources, dignity or assumed worth. In the meantime, both women and men are denied the full range from securing human and social potential outcomes. They denied due to the facts they are uneducated and living in less developed world where women voice is not valued. The inequalities made by gender separation have been swept outcomes for society on the large. The inequalities that are based on stereotypes that society created without knowing the consequence. Whereas women’s behavior at work in the USA is far different than what we aspects. They are educated and have equal rights as men have.
