Draft 2 Would one rather be in a group of people or themselves on an island? One might rather be stranded on island with a group of people, because having no one and one would do everything all by themselves with a group, everyone would have equal share. Like in the Lord of the Flies all of the boys did something to keep the group as one. Lord of the Flies was written by William Golding. The book was about a group of boys in a plane crash during WWll on an island. In Cast Away the director is Robert Zemeckis. Cast Away is about Chuck Noland, the main character, goes from being a FedEx worker, to someone that has to fend for himself on island. This goes with the paper because in the movie Chuck didn’t have anyone to help him when he got hurt so when he got hurt. In Lord of the Flies, if someone got hurt someone in the group would come and help you when needed. In Lord of the Flies when Ralph would need help the little nuns would always come and help. In Lord of the Flies, when Maurice was attacked by Roger because they thought that he was the beast. No one came over to help him or even ask if he was even ok. This goes with my paper because in Cast Away, Chuck didn’t have anyone to help him get some food for him. In Lord of the Flies samneric and the other hunters were the guys that would go and get some food for the “family”. A group is something that could help one learn the meaning of sharing workloads. In Lord of the Flies when Piggy got Ralph a conch and told/taught Ralph how to blow into the conch. This is wanted because one can see everything that is going too. This is called work-load. In Cast Away when Chuck first got there chuck didn’t have any shelter. Being in a group with someone who can help learn how build a shelter with the rest of the group. The two reasons that have been given about being in a group is better than alone will hopefully make one believe it with this last
