I want to be a famous singer. I want to be a doctor when I grow up. These are just a couple of the many dreams American girls have and thanks to the generations of women before us, all of these dreams are possible. Just because I am young women, doesn't mean my dreams are limited. Women fought hard for us to reach these dreams. Now we have the gift of equality to be anything we dream to be.

Susan B. Anthony was an important factor in gifting our generations with women's equal rights. She became active in temperance rallies, a social and political movement during the Progressive Era.
