The long history of tattoos has been an identifier for gangs, families and social classes but also no identifier at all. Tattoos inflict interest among those that are too young to understand and those that see tattoos as art. While some are intrigued others show disgust at even just the thought of a person that puts something permanent on their body. Furthermore, a person that can put something permanent on their body must be taken into consideration. Although, environment influences tattoos and the purpose of getting them there are people that do not follow into the trend of styles and create a tattoo that nobody can replicate keeping the tattoo unique to them. Tattoos are known as a fashion and in fashion comes change which is ever changing.
