What is research? So according to Merriam Webster dictionary research is a careful or diligent search. It is a collecting of information about a certain subject or topic. So research is a technique used by people for learning something they want to learn. And there are ways of doing a research and I will tell you two of the many ways of doing research. Research is important because it can easily explain something in a compiled and easier way. It can also prove if it is a lie or a fact because there you will have proofs for a lie and support for a fact.

This way of doing a research is based on the lessons that my English teacher, Red Louis Elacio, taught us . He is a very fantastic teacher who is currently teaching in Chair of Saint Peter School.

First is to know your topic. Yes people should know what topic will they research about. Always remember that you should always research the topic that makes you interested because it will make doing your research easier. It should always be specific because that will make your research easy to understand by the readers. There are some questions that you should keep in mind. What is the topic? What is the purpose statement? What are the background materials relevant? These questions can guide you in doing your research. Second is to research. There are different ways of doing a research. That includes reading, searching and interviewing. You can do it in a library, home, or anywhere that you can gain the information that you need. Third is to determine your strategy in doing a research. Quantitative research is primarily exploratory research. It is used to gain an understanding of underlying reasons, opinions, and motivations. It should be a specific one and a topic that will make you interested in searching for that topic. Second is to find information. You should research information through reading books, surfing in the internet or interviewing people who will give you information about your topic. Third is to make an introduction. An introduction must be able to take a person’1s attention and must make a person interested about your research. Fourth is to make a body. Put there the information you got from your research in your desired way. The body is where you’ll explain your research and give information to people about the topic that you researched. Fifth is to make a conclusion. This is where you’ll restate your topic and summarize the information that you researched.

Learning these different ways of researching can help you make your own research. You can also follow, combine, or just make your own style of researching. But the very important thing is that after a person reads your research, they must learn something new or make them feel interested to know it more.
