Yuma has been going through many problems over the past years. One of the problems is called irrigation. Irrigation are supplies of water for the crops. To solve this problem, The Yuma County came up an idea called the Yuma Project. The Yuma Project was able to get water from the Colorado river and give it to the Yuma and other cities. While the Yuma Project was in effect, there were some difficulty that was brought to the people. This project had brought some difficulty to people from Yuma and other cities. Many of the developers had a very tough time to build the project. Different groups of people had to make some difficulties about the project.There was two sides of effects that the project brought. Most of the problems were the common one that most people or companies would do go through form this kind of project. One of the common problems had to dealt with the soil. For the crops and other plants to able to grow,this would have to have many fertilizer and a great number of water. This is important to know what the developers had to go through when they were making the Yuma Project is because a person in the future might go through these kinds of troubles as well. It’s important to know what to do in these situation.
Different groups of people had changes and effect it came to the project. The Yuma Project had a great impact of the landscape of Yuma,but the project had a big change and effect on the people who were in Yuma and who were outside of Yuma. Farmers had to make some changes to how they grow their crops. Lots of Indians lived in the area that was part of the project had some effects on the project as well. The Yuma Project had changes to different people. Some of the Farmers had make changes to their everyday life. Many of the farmers had to either give up or gain more land for the crops. In the year of 1989, the farm population grew into 2,700,325 aces-foot of the land. Over the years, the land grew very big because of the …show more content…
There was the side that felt the project was going to be a good idea. The Yuma Project brought jobs to people who needed one. On the other hand, there was the side that thought the project was not going to be a success. Some of the main effects on the Yuma Project was the people of the County were giving money for the project to be made. Another difficulty that people were saying was the jobs that given for the project. The Yuma Project gave people in the some great ways to get water, but for some people, this was not a great idea for County.
Some people in the Yuma county thought that was be a great success. One of the resource for the water is the Colorado River. To get the water from the river to the County was going to take some work. In order to get the water some jobs were going to be given. There were over 26 jobs that were given to the people to get the water.
