n the call of the wild, buck must learn new things throughout his journey and adapt to his new nature. The theme i am picking for this novel is, knowledge and wisdom are power. Buck faces many hardships throughout the novel and he must use more than his physical strength to survive it. Bucks ability to learn helps him survive in the north, his ability to learn is recognized by those around him, and Bucks adaptation takes root inside him to make him physically smarter as well.
