Even though hydrogen is awesome i almost every way, there is a downside to it. one of the very few disadvantages of hydrogen is that it is very hard to move around. Where as oil can be sent through pipelines. Another disadvantage in hydrogen is that its highly flamable. Hydrogen itself is a very powerful source of fuel. we all jnow the effects of hydrogen bomb that was dropped on hiroshima and nagasaki in japan. its highly flamable and always in news for the risks associated with it. Finally, there can be some challenges using hydrogen as an Alternative Fuel. Some examples are: this fuel is only available in some locations (mostly California). Fuel cell vehicles, which run on hydrogen, are currently more expensive than conventional vehicles. However, costs have decreased significantly.
