Since Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological disorder, that it causes many children psychological distress, and this distress can make the tics more severe.. Tics appear as involuntary, sudden, repetitive, purposeless motor movements or sounds. The TS symptoms can cause many children to have challenges developing socially and to be reclusive, and the disorder will limit a child wanting to communicate with others.
