Violate The First Amendment

There’s a party going on and cops show up to shut it down. The people there are infuriated. The police cite a city noise ordinance as reason to shut it down. Soon, the party throwers sue, the cops shouldn’t be able shut down their party! The first amendment protects their right to party! The freedom of speech should let them party till the break of dawn! Do the party goers have a case? Are noise ordinances constitutional?
In regards to the party I think they most definitely are, however they do need to be very specifically written to not violate the First amendment. These laws can be tricky because a lot of the times people are getting in trouble due to being overly loud are times people are exercising their right to expression. The First
