As time goes by, it makes me busier than yesterday. Many things need to be done within certain time, because as I get older, lots of important things are coming. However, there is one thing that I should not be forgotten, the presence of my family. In the story of Walk Two Moons, by Susah Creech, Sal, the main character, remembers her relationship with her parents after having blackberry pie. I realized that as time flies so fast, our relation is becoming distant, and sometimes I feel sad. Besides, I know and would consider it as a transition process to become an adult.
In Walk Two Moons, by Sharon Creech, Sal visits Phoebe’s house and eats blackberry pie in chapter six “Blackberries”. He is the one who always gives me never-ending supports. I remembered the first time when my dad taught me how to fish. It was like six years ago, at the middle of the ocean. My first timer fishing, unfortunately, things gone wild. A wild fish caught my bait and I got pulled and nearly fell from the boat. Luckily my dad saw it and straightly jumped into me and dismissed the fishing pole. I was incredibly shocked yet proud, because I actually caught a rare fish. The Dana Point Beach ocean reminds me of the good old days that family is the ones who will be there no matter what.
All in all, it is often necessary to remember that small things such as the smell of the ocean are important in reminding us that family will be there in our ups and down. If you are faced with problems, remember, family will be there to be your number one supporter. Therefore, always live and cherish the moment while you have
