The Importance of The War of 1812

A great man once said,"A standing military force, with an overgrown executive will not long be safe companions to liberty." That great man was James Madison. The issue we are faced here is the war of 1812. So of the editor think we should take the war of 1812 out of the history books so they can save some money on paper and ink. I think that we should keep it in the history books. There is so much information in the war of 1812. One reason is that if we didn't have the war of 1812 in the history books is how is us kids supposed to learn how the star spangled banner was made? How are we supposed to know how Francis Scott Key got stuck in the harbor? Or how are we supposed to know the the battle there
