History curriculum, AP courses have come under fire all over the country. What do they actually offer students? Do they violate legislation that bans Common Core? Are they even worth it? I’m here to tell you that yes, they are, and for several reasons: AP classes provide a positive environment for students, give them the opportunity to achieve their best, and often provide an edge for those entering, or attempting to enter, college.
