To Kill a Mockingbird

In Harper Lee’s novel, To kill a Mockingbird, the mockingbird is used as a symbol to represent peace and innocence that can often be unjustly destroyed. A mockingbird is a bird that only does beautiful songs.They are peaceful and intend no harm.Two characters in the story that can be seen as mockingbird are Boo Radley and Tom Robinson represents inno once because his intentions were to help someone in need. In the story, one can see how history and society both influence how each of these characters unjustify lose their peace and innocence.
Boo Radley is peaceful because he cares about the kids and everyone he’s around.Since Boo Radley is a peaceful person, the reader can determine this character trait when Scout said, His hand came down lighty on Jem’s hair (Lee 372).When Boo saved Jem and Scout from Bob Ewell, Scout realize that Boo was a bad guy after all.Boo Radley was a beautiful person just like a mockingbird.
