Throughout the course of my eight year teaching career, I have met a variety of students and teachers with some incredible abilities. I have taught students who are gifted in many areas outside the classroom. Students that can draw elaborate paintings, create detailed sculptures from a lump of clay, play complex musical pieces on multiple instruments, display extraordinary athletic abilities, or are simply really smart in class and make high grades and achieve high test scores with little effort. There is no doubt to me that these students in my career would meet societies standard for what it means to be well educated. They have identified strengths that they have and they push themselves to be great at what comes natural to them. But
