Bacon's Rebellion was a rebellion that occurred in 1676 by settlers in Virginia led by Nathaniel Bacon against the Governor William Berkeley. Nathaniel Bacon grouped together an angry mob to burn Jamestown and Indian settlements as a protest for the reason that they didn't get any protection from the government. He burned Jamestown to the ground and then suddenly died from an illness which ended the rebellion.
