Who Is To Blame For Romeo's Fault

After reading “Romeo and Juliet” it becomes clear that the characters were going to meet a unstopable fate it is romeo to blame for the starting the fire. It is Romeo who sneaks over the capulet wall which is the location where Romeo and Juliet decide to marry each other. Also, Romeo kills Tybalt in rage when he did not have to do that.Which results in Romeo's banishment and the coming of a failure plan. Although some may argue that Romeo is a victim in the situation due to others actions. Ultimately, it is Romeo's fault for his and Juliet's deaths.

Romeo is the one who started I can’t live without you romance. Romeo snuck over the capulet wall illegally after speaking to Juliet at the party and brings up marriage. Romeo said, “ O, wilt thou leave me so unsatisfied.”(2.2.124) In turn Juliet said, “What satisfaction canst thou have tonight.”(2.2.125)Romeo responded, “Th’ exchange of thy love’s faithful vow for mine.”(2.2.126) Romeo is the first one to bring up marriage and Juliet responds almost confused making Romeo the ringleader of their ever coming fate of I can’t live without you. The idea of Romeo at fault is clear when he gets himself banished.

Romeo murdered Tybalt in pure anger and got himself banished after the prince told both families not to fight or “on pain of death”(1.1.96)” “...for mercutio's soul is but a little way above our heads, staying for thine to keep him company. Either thou or I, or both must go with him.’’ said, Romeo(3.1.123-125) So Romeo help start the fight were Romeo killed Tybalt. When he did not have fight which got him self banished. Which shows why Romeo is at fault.

Some may argue that Romeo is not at fault and is a victim in the the story with his death being caused by others in the book. However, Romeo did kill himself in the and no one forced him drink
