After the completion of The Odyssey, it is evident that Odysseus suffered at an extend. Odysseus goes through years of torment while Penelope stays home having to take care of her child and palace. Even though she does suffer from mental stress Odysseus’s journey outways everything she goes through. One reason Odysseus suffers more is because he was kept captive twice.
