The 2nd amendment states “The right of people to bear arms, shall not be infringed” to me it means no restrictions. But just like any other law it has limits; states have their own regulations with guns like licensing requirements and bans on certain guns and machine guns. Though machine guns aren’t banned in the U.S. I do not believe the 2nd amendment support gun rights the original meaning is that it protects a citizen right to posses a firearm like self-defense in one’s home.
