On the 11th of September 2001, there were four terrorist attacks which are known as 9/11. The 9/11 attacks killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000. They also caused 10 billion dollars of damage. There are lots of conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11 but this essay will discuss the collapse of the Twin Towers and the Pentagon and the black boxes that were found in the World Trade Centre building.

Conspiracy theorists believe that the Twin Towers were destroyed by controlled explosives as there were reports of explosions going off shortly before the collapse. However, there has been no evidence of explosives being found and going off despite hand searches, and there has been no evidence of cutting on the walls which is usually performed in a controlled demolition. Other theorists believe that 10,000 gallons of fuel were poured over the towers starting the fires. Some people believe that this is what caused the collapse and damage of the Twin Towers. The conspiracy theories I discussed are the collapse of the Twin Towers, the attacks on the Pentagon and the damaged black boxes. The black boxes were too damaged to give any information and let people know exactly what happened. The pentagon was attacked after the Twin Towers collapsed. It was said that the plane was going at 34mph and hit the west side of the building. Conspiracy theorists also believe that the Twin Towers were destroyed not by the planes flying into them, but by controlled explosives. There were several reports of explosives going off shortly before the collapse. Other conspiracy theorists believe that the American government was involved with the attack and destruction of the Twin Towers and the Pentagon and others believe that the American government would never had been involved in such a horrendous attack the killed and devastated so many lives and
