Week 4 Individual work2 In this essay, I will explain How I will solve this problem using Maslow’s motivational theory is to create a work environment that includes goals such as social contribution, honesty, reliability, service, quality, dependability, and unity for all levels of employees.
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs are Physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, Esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. By using these needs it would help the employees feel more secure at work and at home. It would also help when it comes to social needs- the need to feel loved, accepted, and part of the group that will help the employees become part of the team and want to come in on time and try harder.
Employees need recognition and acknowledgment from their employers that shows them that you recognize that their doing their job. It also gives them self -respect and a sense of status or importance.(2013learningactivities@Nicklestextbook).
The difference is that using Herzberg’s and McGregor’s is that the factors that can motivate people are achievement, recognition, responsibility, growth and advancement. McGregor observed that managers atittudes generally fall into one of two entirely different sets of managerial assumptions which he called theory x and theory . I believe
